There are 6 Reunification Express trains that run every day on Hue – Hanoi route, including SE8, SE6, SE10, SE4, SE2, and SE20. It takes about 12 hours to travel by train between Hanoi and Hue city. Reunification Express trains serve three kinds of tickets: Soft seat, hard berth (in 6 berth Cabin), and soft berth (in 4 berth cabin).

  • Almost tourists choose the Soft berth on SE2 and SE 20 because it will save a hotel night but still comfortable enough for one night.
  • SE20 will be the best choice for those who want to eat the Lunch at Hue just before checking in the hotel.

Berth allocation

Luggage allowance

Carry-on Bags: The train cabins are allowed to carry baggage not to exceed the weight limitation of 20 kgs of adults and 10 kgs of children. This baggage should be wrapped neatly and reliably.

Cancellation policies

  • More than 15 days before arrival: A refund is possible but with 10% of the total price charged as a handling fee
  • 15 days to 5 days before departure date: 50% of total price will be refunded;
  • Within 5 days before departure date: No refund;
  • Passenger not showing up: No refund
