FAQs
What are the official opening hours for Con Son - Kiep Bac?
The relic complex is open daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For the best "Price-to-Performance" photography and a quiet atmosphere, we recommend arriving at the Côn Sơn gates by 8:30 AM.
How much are the entrance tickets in 2026?
Entrance to the Côn Sơn relic area is 20,000 VND ($0.79 USD) and entrance to Kiếp Bạc Temple is also 20,000 VND ($0.79 USD). These fees are collected to maintain the UNESCO-nominated heritage site.
Is there an advance booking service available?
While you do not need to book entrance tickets, hiring an English-speaking guide for a private "Hải Dương Heritage" tour is a travel-focused necessity. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance through a professional agency.
When is the recommended travel time to visit?
The Spring (late January to March) is beautiful for festivals, while the Autumn (September to November) offers crisp, dry weather that is a mechanical necessity for hiking the pine forests safely.
What are the nearby famous attractions?
Côn Sơn - Kiếp Bạc is near the Thanh Mai Pagoda (famed for its red maple leaves in winter), the Phượng Hoàng Mountain (Chu Văn An Temple), and is part of the larger Yen Tu spiritual circuit.
What should I note regarding rules and behavior?
Respectful attire is a professional requirement. Additionally, avoid talking loudly in the temple areas and do not touch the ancient stone steles or artifacts, as they are under strict conservation for the UNESCO bid.
