What to Expect

Type of cabin

Consisting of 4 coaches, Fansipan Express Train offers 2 types of cabin:

Deluxe 4-berth cabin
VIP 2-berths cabin

Pick-up & Drop-off

Before 20:00: Passenger be present at the Lao Cai Train Station (No.337 Quảng Trường ga Lào Cai Street, (see this destination on Google Map) for check-in procedure. Your online ticket would be exchanged for the paper tickets at this point.

21:40: Train departed to Hanoi Train Station.

04:30: Arrived at Hanoi Train Station.

Special Note

The train has its waiting room in the station to serve its customers.
There is one restroom on every couch and only open when the train runs.
VIP cabin/ cabin 2 berth must be bought as a whole. A single person who travels on a VIP cabin must buy both tickets.
Fansipan Express offering slippers, snacks or biscuits, mineral water, and large luggage storage for free.

Children Policy:

Children, who are under 11 years old and shorter than 1m32, will reduce 10% train tickets comparing with adults.
